Robert Moody, music director

Robert Moody has had the honor of serving as Music Director for the Winston-Salem Symphony since 2005, Artistic Director for Arizona Musicfest since 2007, and Music Director for the Portland Symphony Orchestra (Maine), since 2008.

Matthew Troy, associate conductor

Matthew Thomas Troy was appointed assistant conductor of the Winston-Salem Symphony in May 2008, and became the orchestra’s associate conductor in August, 2011. In this position Maestro Troy also serves as the music director of the Youth Symphony and the Symphony’s education director.

Carole Ott, chorale director

Carole Ott joined the WSS as director of the Symphony Chorale in 2008.  Additionally, she serves on the faculty of the UNC-Greensboro School of Music as an Assistant Professor of Choral Music and director of the University Chorale.
