Youth Symphony Washington DC Tour

The Youth Symphony’s three-day tour to Washington DC was both educational and fun! The orchestra performed two concerts of patriotic music for large audiences at Union Station and a Veteran’s Retirement Home. Students went on guided tours of many memorials, the Capitol Building, and the Library of Congress. They also visited the Newseum, a museum based on the history of press and journalism, and a Smithsonian Museum of their choice!
