Family Concerts
The Symphony performs at least two family-focused concerts each season, and many of our classical and pops concerts may appeal to kids and young people as well. For children under 12, tickets to any concert in our season are only $10!

Youth Orchestras Program
The Winston-Salem Symphony Youth Orchestras strive to foster the greatest artistic and personal development of young musicians by providing them with experiences that challenge and develop their musical abilities, inspire imagination and excellence, and create future stewards of the arts. We carry out this mission by embracing the following core beliefs: Excellence, Inspiration, Collaboration, and Inclusion.
P.L.A.Y. Music
Piedmont Learning Academy for Youth (P.L.A.Y. Music) is the Winston-Salem Symphony’s El-Sistema-inspired music education program which places an emphasis on the teaching of the whole child: head, heart, and hands.
